Yari’s TRN takes Tinubu’s achievements to APC convention, slams opposition propaganda

The RenewedHope Network (TRN), a group established by former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, has urged opposition figures in Nigeria to bury their anger and objectively assess what it described as the achievements of President Bola  Tinubu across various sectors.

The group also cautioned Nigerians against what it called falsehoods, propaganda and deliberate misrepresentation targeted at Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration by political opponents seeking power.

Speaking to journalists during a solidarity rally held alongside the ongoing National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the leader of the technical committee of TRN, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, said the group mobilised thousands of supporters of the President to the convention as a show of support and appreciation for the administration’s performance.

He commended the founder of the network, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, for initiating the platform to promote the achievements of the President and his commitment to Nigerians. Comrade Ogenyi added that TRN would continue to strengthen its grassroots engagement by sensitising citizens on the implementation of the RenewedHope agenda for national development.

According to him, President Tinubu has shown the capacity, commitment and readiness required to lead the country towards progress through his policies, programmes and measurable achievements.

“We call on opposition figures and those who feel aggrieved as a result of the ongoing re-engineering and rebuilding of Nigeria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government to berry their anger, open their eyes to see the benefits of the ongoing reforms of this administration, as we believe no one can see clearly if eyes are closed.

“As the Nation Nigeria prepares for another election in 2027, we also admonish Nigerians not to listen to lies, propaganda and deliberate distortions against the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu or his government.

” We are using this medium to alert Nigerians that spin doctors, propagandists and blackmailers are being hired by the opposition figures to do their deity jobs but we believe that the will of the people will always prevail because we are in majority.”

Explaining the influx of governors and key political figures into the APC, Ogenyi stated: “APC is indeed in the right direction with thirty two (32) State Governors in the Party. It is in appreciation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that serving Governors and top politicians across Nigeria are trooping to APC because Asiwaju has redefined governance and party administration.”

On the administration’s achievements, he said: ” President Tinubu has weakened terrorism, solved the problem of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) that was bedeviled the nation for several years.

“Today, Nigerian students no longer drop out of school as a result of strike or financial difficulty. President Tinubu has resolved the funding crises for the less privileged students through Nigeria Education Loan Funds, Nelfund, his regime has made petroleum products available and at the highest quality, and no one is sleeping at filling station as it used to be.

“It is no longer news that inflation has been subdued by the Tinubu-led federal government, from 34% to 15%, foreign reserve has increased to 48.5 billion Dollars, foreign loans are being paid off on daily bases, Nigerians in the diaspora are returning home and our economy is fast growing.

“We as members of the RenewedHope Network (TRN) under the national leadership of Senator Abdulaziz Yari are set to mobilise Nigerians in support of the Tinubu’s administion.”
