Suspected notorious thug dies suddenly in Kaduna

A suspected notorious thug, popularly known as Habu Dan Damisa, has died suddenly in Kaduna.

His death, which occurred Wednesday in the Tudun Wada area, has triggered sharply mixed reactions among residents.

According to security analyst Zagozola Makama, some community members expressed relief at the news, while others offered sympathy, calling his death a stark reminder of life’s fragility.

“He was accused of terrorising the community and allegedly responsible for the killing of several people. But as for us, all we can say is, may Allah forgive our dead and guide our offspring,” one resident said.

Makama reported that Dan Damisa’s violent reputation had made him widely feared in the area. His passing has now left the community divided between mourning and celebration.
