Veteran Nigerian music icon Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, is currently facing backlash online following a controversial statement he made about male sexuality during an appearance on the popular +234 Podcast hosted by Nedu Wazobia.

In the episode, 2Baba opined that it is “nearly impossible” for a man to remain sexually committed to just one woman. His remarks have since sparked intense reactions across social media platforms, with many accusing the singer of promoting harmful stereotypes and justifying infidelity.

The “African Queen” crooner said that although a man may deeply love one woman, the urge for sexual variety often remains strong.

“A man is not built to be sexually with one woman,” he said during the podcast conversation. “Heart and love dey with one woman. But sexually, e dey impossible for man. It is the biology of man.”

He continued: “Man fit love one woman die, but when it comes to that sexual satisfaction it’s hard. The seed too plenty, you no fit drop am for one woman…”

However, his comment on seems not to go well with many on social media media . While some netizens agreed with his take on human nature, others called him out for promoting infidelity under the guise of biology.
