Huge crowd as Paul Enenche leads revival crusade in Maiduguri

Maiduguri witnessed an unprecedented gathering of Christian worshippers as Dr. Paul Enenche, General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, led a powerful revival crusade in the Borno State capital.
The event, themed “Ignited: A Fire of Revival in Borno State,” drew thousands of believers from across the North East for an evening of prayer, worship, and spiritual renewal in a city once deeply affected by insurgency.
Held without incident, the massive turnout was seen as a sign of the improving security situation in Borno and the resilience of the Christian community. Throughout the night, worshippers sang, prayed, and listened to messages of faith, unity, and perseverance.
The gathering also took place amid recent statements from the Federal Government refuting claims that Christians are being specifically targeted in Nigeria, particularly in the North East. Officials have dismissed such assertions as misleading, warning against narratives that could influence foreign governments’ policies toward Nigeria.
For many attendees, the crusade was a defining moment, symbolizing the right to worship freely and openly.
“This is a sign that peace is returning to Borno. The presence of this large number of Christians, worshipping at night in Maiduguri without fear, is a powerful message,” said Deborah Musa, a worshipper from Yobe State.
