Gunmen kidnap lecturer in Plateau

Gunmen have kidnapped Dr. Yohanna Mallo, a lecturer at the Federal College of Education, Pankshin, in Bokkos Local Government Area, Plateau State.

The incident reportedly took place in the early hours of Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the Malahwam Tarangol area.

Sources indicate that the attackers invaded the lecturer’s home around 2:30 a.m., seized him, and fled to an undisclosed location.

In response, a coordinated team of military personnel and the Special Intervention Squad has launched a search-and-rescue mission, scouring nearby forests for clues to locate the victim and apprehend the kidnappers.
