JUST IN : 10 killed as building collapses in Ibadan

In the early hours of Thursday, a building collapse in the Jegede Oluloyo area of Ibadan, Oyo State, led to the tragic loss of 10 lives, while seven others sustained injuries.
The Oyo State Fire Services Agency confirmed the incident, which occurred around 2 a.m. in Ona Ara Local Government Area.
According to an official statement, rescue teams are working tirelessly to clear the debris and search for any additional survivors.
The agency disclosed that as of the latest update, 10 people had been recovered from the rubble, and seven were successfully rescued with injuries.
“The Oyo State Fire Services Agency received a distressed call at around 2 a.m. this morning at Jegede Olunloyo area, Ibadan, of which 10 persons have been recovered from the debris of the collapsed building, while seven persons were rescued alive. Rescue operation is still going on,” the statement read.
Rescue efforts are still underway as responders strive to reach any remaining individuals trapped in the debris.
