Protesters storm Lagos streets for #FearlessInOctober despite security warnings

In a continuation of the #EndBadGovernance protests that took place from August 1 to 10, demonstrators have once again taken to the streets of Lagos under the banner of #FearlessInOctober.
Despite warnings from security forces, the protesters returned on Tuesday to voice their dissatisfaction with the state of governance in Nigeria.

Back in August, the protesters vowed to return in October to continue their call for accountability and reforms. However, this latest protest has not yet gained the same level of momentum as the earlier demonstrations.
While the turnout has been smaller, the protesters remain resolute, highlighting ongoing frustrations with political and economic conditions in the country.
The return of these protests signifies the persistent demand for change and improved governance, despite the challenges posed by security warnings and lower participation.
