JUST IN : Tinubu arrives Abuja after Türkiye state visit

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after concluding a state visit to the Republic of Türkiye.
The President arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 8:55 p.m. on Saturday aboard an Airbus A330.
The Presidency confirmed his arrival in a brief statement issued to State House correspondents on Saturday evening.
The visit, which commenced on Tuesday, featured bilateral engagements between President Tinubu and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. It also included the signing of nine agreements covering defence, energy, security, research, and other strategic areas.
Both leaders held discussions on shared priorities aimed at deepening cooperation between Nigeria and Türkiye in several areas of mutual interest.
Members of the presidential delegation included the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar; the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi; the Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa (retd.); and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
