EFCC Links Ex- AGF Malami to 41 Properties in Kano, FCT, Kebbi Worth Over N212bn

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has traced 41 properties to former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, and his son, Abdulaziz Malami.

The assets, comprising hotels, schools, residential buildings, lands, and a printing press, are located across Kebbi, Kano, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with a combined valuation of approximately N212.89 billion.

According to a document obtained by Premium Times, the disclosure comes as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) conducted searches at his homes and offices in Abuja and Kebbi State on 17 December, as part of ongoing investigations into alleged financial misconduct.

The properties in Kebbi state are valued at N162,195,950,000, while the assets in Kano state are said to be worth N16,011,800,000, and the value of the FCT properties was put at N34,685,000,000.
