JUST IN : Many escape death as private jet crash-lands in Kano

A private jet operated by Flybird made an emergency landing on Sunday morning at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA).

The aircraft, which was flying from Abuja, crash landed at about 9:30 a.m. with 11 passengers on board, including three crew members.

An eyewitness said all passengers were safely evacuated from the jet after the incident.
