Shettima inaugurates Gumel emirate mosque, hails Gov Namadi’s agricultural reforms

Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has inaugurated the multi-million Naira Juma’at Mosque at the Emir of Gumel Palace,Jigawa State.
A statement by Zainab Rabo, the Senior Special Asistant Media Affairs to Governor Umar Namadi made available to journalists said the religious ceremony attracted top notch politicians, first class Emirs, captains of industry and Islamic clerics from far and wide.
Zainab Rabo stated that the new mosque was constructed by the Kashim Shettima Foundation,adding that Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi, and the Sultan of Sokoto were also present at the ceremony.
The Senior Special Asistant Media Affairs in the statement noted that the Vice President congratulated the Emir, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Sani for attaining 45 years on the throne as the Emir of Gumel.
“Your highness I want to use this opportunity to congratulate you for witnessing 45th years on the throne as the Emir of the historic city of Gumel,” Shettima said.
The Vice President further assured of more commitments through his foundation to transform the lives of Nigerians.
He commended governor Malam Umar Namadi for transforming Agriculture which he said had successfully put the state in a viable competition with its peers in Nigeria and beyond.
“Governor Namadi is equal to the task, looking at his two-year achievements and the way he transformed Jigawa in modern Agriculture,”he said.
