Ignore the so called forum APC G3 backs Yilwatda faults call for resignation

The APC Grassroots Governance Group (APC G3) has dismissed a recent statement credited to the North-Central All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum, which claimed it regretted advocating for a National Chairman from the region.

The Forum had taken aim at National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, alleging he was advancing a religious agenda and exploiting his position for personal political gain in Plateau State.

But in its reaction, the APC G3 labeled the Forum’s position as “reckless and with ill-motive.”

In a statement issued by its National Coordinator, Chuks Oyema, the APC G3 defended Yilwatda’s stewardship, arguing that he has brought stability to the party and attracted fresh membership within a short period.

The group also challenged the intentions of the Forum, asking, “Who are they working for? Enemies of the party? Or those who are not happy with what our National Chairman is doing?”

“Are they PDP members pretending to be in the same party with us?” the APC G3 added.

Responding to claims of a religious agenda, the group insisted the Chairman’s faith should not be a subject of controversy.

“Professor Nentawe Yilwatda never plays with his faith as a Christian, and that should not be a problem to a so-called forum that should be promoting religious coexistence, which the APC stands for.

“Since his assumption of office, Yilwatda has attracted new members, and more are coming to boost the party’s chances in future elections.

“The Forum pretends to have keyed into the Tinubu 2027 project and same time against a National Chairman who is a die hard supporter of the President. The National Chairman is quietly spreading the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.

“Or maybe the intellectual input of the National Chairman in preaching the Renewed Hope Agenda is difficult for the so called Forum to comprehend.

“He will never block anyone with genuine intentions,” the APC G3 said, stressing that Yilwatda has delivered creditably in a short time.

The group urged party supporters to ignore the comments from the Forum, describing it as a “so-called forum.”
