Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, and Edo State legislator Natasha Osawaru have welcomed their first child together—a baby boy.

Buzz about the birth intensified on Friday after Osawaru was seen at a hospital, sparking speculation that she had gone into labour.

The confirmation came hours later when Osawaru shared a short announcement on her official Facebook page, revealing that the couple had been “blessed with a baby boy.” The post quickly attracted widespread congratulatory messages across social media.

The newborn marks a new milestone in the unfolding narrative of the pair’s much-watched relationship.2Baba and Osawaru officially began their union earlier this year after the singer parted ways with Annie Idibia in January.

Their relationship drew public interest from the outset, including the Valentine’s Eve proposal to family visits and traditional rites that followed.
