JUST IN: Nigeria’s inflation rate slides to 16.05%

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has announced a further decline in Nigeria’s headline inflation rate, which fell to 16.05% in October 2025.
Released on Monday as part of the agency’s latest Consumer Price Index report, the data shows that this is the seventh consecutive month of declining inflation in the country, signaling gradual relief for consumers facing rising costs of living.
