Ex-commissioner breaks silence on reported ‘death’ of former Gov. Obiano

Former Commissioner for Information, Anambra State, Mr. Don Adinuba, has reacted to the alleged death of ex-Governor Willie Obiano in United Kingdom .

According to Adinuba, Obiano, is alive and well, despite a wave of social media posts falsely alleging that he had died.

Adinuba , who stated this on Friday, said he had spoken directly with Obiano and confirmed that the ex-governor remains “hale and hearty” and is based in the United States, not the United Kingdom as one online publication suggested.

“Obiano has never lived in the United Kingdom. He lives in the United States of America. I just spoke with him now,” Adinuba stated.

He urged the public to ignore the rumour, stressing that such baseless stories could cause needless anxiety for Obiano’s family, friends, and the wider Anambra community.
