Laila Regina Daniels fight dirty over drug l sbianism accusations as Nwoko family rift deepens

Tensions within the household of politician Ned Nwoko escalated over the weekend as his wives, Laila Charani and Nollywood star Regina Daniels, engaged in a heated exchange on Instagram, amplifying an already turbulent family crisis.

The public fallout stems from events in October when a viral video showed Daniels tearfully accusing Nwoko of domestic abuse.

The politician later denied wrongdoing, instead alleging that his wife was battling drug and alcohol addiction.

Daniels subsequently acknowledged using hard drugs but claimed her husband enabled the dependency as part of what she described as a manipulative pattern of control.

Amid the renewed turmoil, Laila took to Instagram with a lengthy post alleging that the dispute was rooted in Nwoko’s objection to what she described as Daniels’ habits. According to her, Nwoko had long maintained that he would never tolerate a spouse who consumes alcohol, smokes, or uses hard substances.

“How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly? I am very contented with the provisions my husband makes for our family. We should show Nigerians our bank accounts to see who is paying money to our accounts,” she wrote.

“You also know that my husband completely hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking. He has always been clear that he would never accept any wife who drinks, smokes, or uses drugs.

“The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction. It has always been a serious matter for him, as he neither smokes nor drinks himself.

“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs 6 years ago and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path.”

Laila also accused Daniels of being a negative influence, alleging she supplied drugs to domestic workers and to her younger sister, Destiny. She further accused the actress of inappropriate relationships with women around her, saying it was the reason she would not trust her daughters alone with her.

“You have been a bad influence since you married into this beautiful family giving drugs to nannies and our workers including your younger sister Destiny,” she added.

“You infected everyone with your virus and this is why I will not trust my daughters around you unsupervised especially when I found out that you were sleeping with every single girl around you.

“Please go and sort yourself out. Seek help immediately and continue with your rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of this.

“I say this not out of anger, but from a place of truth and concern for the level of lies that you are peddling for reasons that are known to you alone.”

Regina responded on her Instastory, describing Laila’s claims as “useless and hurtful.” She portrayed herself as a devoted caregiver to many children and dismissed the allegations about her sexuality with sarcasm.

“How is the other woman so certain? lol. Is she so certain because I slept with her too?” she wrote.

The actress also directed a warning at Nwoko, urging him to safeguard their children and refrain from using them as leverage.

“First off! Openly saying you can’t leave kids around me is the most useless and hurtful thing Ned ordered his retarded wife to say. I’m such a mother to so many children that it’s quite tiring,” she said.

“Also, saying I sleep with every single girl? Truthfully, sleeping with same gender isn’t a thing that I consider shameful but How is the other woman so certain? lol. Is she so certain because I slept with her too?

“I hope she also knows that if not for polygamy disadvantages, her son and mine can’t be together because of all the atrocities we have caught him doing that I will never mention! But My son loves him so what can I don! Ned better protect my kids! Their foundation is the ultimate and do not use them to weaken me!”
