Poverty will not define our future – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has reassured Nigerians that the country will successfully navigate its current economic challenges.
Speaking on Wednesday at the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) Conference in Abuja, President Tinubu emphasized his commitment to steering the nation toward sustainable growth and development.
He stated that despite the prevailing economic difficulties, poverty will not define Nigeria’s future, and his administration remains focused on policies aimed at improving the welfare of citizens, creating jobs, and boosting the economy.
“We may be poor; poverty is not going to be our milestone. We are going to come out of it,” he said.
Tinubu further stated that, although the reforms his administration had undertaken were challenging, they were designed to place Nigeria’s economy on a strong and enduring footing.
He maintained that every stakeholder, especially the media, has a role to play in improving the country.
