Regina Daniels celebrates parents’ reunion after years of estrangement

Popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has expressed immense joy over the reunion of her once-estranged parents, describing the moment as a long-awaited chapter of peace and healing for her family.
Taking to her Facebook page on Thursday, the actress revealed that her parents, who had been at odds for years, finally reconciled—putting aside their differences solely for her happiness.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation?” she wrote.
She revealed that her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been in detention.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she added.
Daniels also spoke glowingly about her parents, describing her father as “one of the biggest lawyers back in the day” and her mother, actress Rita Daniels, as “a powerhouse” who would do anything for her children.
“My father is a lawyer. Actually one of the biggest back in the day but Nigeria happened. I’ll tell you more about my father later and my mother? She’s a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you, mom and dad! This is all I actually ever wanted,” she wrote.
Her post comes against the backdrop of public interest in her troubled marriage to politician and businessman, Ned Nwoko.
PUNCH Online reported in October that Daniels hinted at experiencing domestic violence in her marriage. A viral video showed the actress in tears, surrounded by aides and family, saying: “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
The statement sparked widespread concern among fans and industry colleagues.
In response, Nwoko took to social media, denying allegations of violence and instead accusing Regina of “drug and alcohol abuse” as the root of the crisis. In his statement, Nwoko alleged that the actress had become “uncontrollable,” adding that she needed rehabilitation.
In a more recent report, the actress has vowed to fight for her children.
