Amnesty boss, Otuaro, commiserates with Kingsley Kuku over mother’s death

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, has extended his heartfelt condolences to former Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and ex-Chairman of the PAP, Dr. Kingsley Kuku, following the passing of his mother, Ma Keketobou Jane Kuku.
Madam Kuku died on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the age of 90.
A statement signed by Mr Igoniko Oduma -Special Assistant on Media to the PAP boss on Friday, said Otuaro received the news of Madam Kuku’s death with deep shock and sadness, describing the late matriarch as a virtuous woman who led an exemplary life built on faith, discipline, and service.
He praised her for raising her family with the fear of God, love, and hard work, noting that her moral strength and uprightness were evident in her children — particularly Dr. Kingsley Kuku, whose dedication and firmness in public service reflect the values instilled by his late mother.
According to him, Madam Kuku was not only a devout believer but also a committed contributor to the growth and development of her Arogbo Ijaw community in Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
While consoling Dr. Kuku and the entire family, Dr. Otuaro urged them to take solace in the fulfilling and impactful life their mother lived.
He prayed for God to grant Madam Kuku’s soul eternal rest and to comfort Kingsley, his siblings, and all who mourn her loss.
