Man beaten to death over alleged affair with married woman

A 30-year-old man has reportedly lost his life after being attacked by a husband who accused him of trying to woo his wife in the Lumbu community of Ningi Local Government Area, Bauchi State.

The tragic incident was said to have occurred around 2:09 a.m. on Friday when the deceased, identified as Sanusi Tinau, allegedly visited the home of an unidentified man in an attempt to entice his wife.

According to security analyst Zagozola Makama, the enraged husband descended on Tinau, beating him until he lost consciousness before fleeing the scene.

Police officers later arrived and took the victim to the General Hospital in Ningi, where a medical doctor confirmed his death.

Authorities have since launched a manhunt for the suspect as investigations into the incident continue.
