Natives hails Seyi Tinubu @40, lauds his positive impact on govt

The Natives, a coalition representing Nigeria’s diverse ethnic, tribal, and religious groups, has paid glowing tribute to President Bola Tinubu’s first son, Seyi Tinubu, as he marks his 40th birthday.
In a statement issued on Monday in Abuja, the group’s Supreme Leader, Hon. Olalekan Smart Edwards, praised Seyi Tinubu’s influence in the current administration, describing him as “the missing voice previous governments lacked.”
Edwards stated that the presence of Seyi Tinubu has helped foster order and inclusion within the present government. He said the younger Tinubu deserves recognition, especially from young Nigerians who are part of the administration.
According to him, “Seyi Tinubu is the missing voice that previous administrations lacked. We are bold to say Nigerians were gifted differently in this administration. So to the entire Tinubu family, thank you, for allowing the true character of us in him find expression without limitations.”
The statement hailed Seyi Tinubu as a pathfinder and trailblazer whose contributions have left a visible mark on national life.
“You are indeed the Knight with the Golden Armor. You have been armed with grace from on HIGH, you have withdrawn yourself from the circles of comfort to be owned by Nigerians of all shades and colors. You have stayed well defined in this presidency as that untiring bridge to young people reinforced everyday and everywhere with compassion.
“Without you in this government, it would have been a total disorder,” the group said.
The Natives commended Seyi Tinubu’s empathy and commitment to youth inclusion, noting that his efforts have restored hope for young Nigerians long alienated by previous administrations.
“As your legendary father sets his focus to reconstruct Nigeria, turning our national potentials to global reality, you laid it upon your shoulders to be a worthy son, strengthening support for MDAs, leading youth focused integration, cooperation and participation which has provided opportunities to mainstream youths around policy discussions, political positions and sustainable development programs.”
Highlighting his role in promoting stability and youth-friendly initiatives, the group emphasized that many young people in government owe their opportunities in part to Seyi Tinubu’s advocacy.
“For every young person sitting in any office within this administration, Seyi Tinubu deserves some credit and recognition.
“Your humility as First Son carries along with it the impact and importance of this administration. An era like never before in which Nigeria first is a foreign policy. We also see your hand reflecting Young People First, both male and female in President Tinubu’s administration.
“Oluwaseyi, you have found yourself in places a President could never visit, homes a Governor could never enter, streets people of influence could never stand. You have stretched your hand beyond the Villa into creeks and under bridges, communities of students and the helpless, you are untiring solution provider.
“To various organizations whom you have crossed their paths, you came in as a negotiator, a midwife, a team player and a human shield from all forms of neglect, oppression, exploitation and abandonment.
“On behalf of the entire Natives, Nigerian citizens of all tribes, religion, communities, we celebrate with you and your family. It has become obvious that you will be rewarded, as you have become blessing to our country,” the statement concluded.
