BREAKING: Renowned Evangelist, Uma Ukpai, is dead

The global Christian community is mourning the death of renowned Nigerian evangelist and spiritual leader, Rev. Uma Ukpai, who passed away in Lagos at the age of 80.
According to reports by POLITICS NIGERIA, Rev. Ukpai’s remarkable ministry spanned more than five decades, during which he touched and transformed countless lives across Africa and beyond.
A towering figure in Pentecostal Christianity, Rev. Ukpai was widely revered not only as a preacher but also as a father figure, mentor, and source of inspiration to millions of believers. His powerful teachings, healing crusades, and unwavering faith left a lasting imprint on the Christian landscape in Nigeria and abroad.
Born in Asaga, Ohafia, Abia State, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most respected evangelists in Nigeria. Through the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, founded in the 1970s, he spearheaded numerous crusades and revival meetings that drew massive crowds across Africa, Europe, and North America.
His messages of salvation, healing, and national unity resonated with people of all backgrounds, cutting across denominational lines.
