Customs announces date for nationwide senior cadre recruitment test

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that its Computer-Based Test (CBT) for applicants in the superintendent cadre will hold on October 14 across all six geopolitical zones.
The announcement was made on the Service’s verified X handle and Facebook page on Friday.
According to the statement, the final CBT for qualified candidates will be conducted simultaneously in designated centres across the states, based on each applicant’s state of origin.
PlatinumPost reports that this phase is for applicants whose documents have been verified and who have already completed both the pre-test and live test stages.
It will be recalled that the CBT recruitment examination for the Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres was conducted on October 9.
Candidates who successfully passed the earlier stages are instructed to log in using their National Identification Number (NIN) via https://updates.customs.gov.ng to check their examination details and centres. They must also print coloured examination slips to be presented at the venues.
“The examination will be conducted concurrently in the following designated centres across the zones: South-West: Lagos and Osun; South-East: Enugu and Abia; South-South: Rivers and Edo; North-Central: Abuja and Kwara; North-East: Bauchi and Adamawa; and North-West: Kaduna and Sokoto.
“Candidates must report strictly to their assigned examination centres as indicated on their slips. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
“Further details and specific instructions regarding the examination process will be communicated through the Recruitment Update Portal,” it stated.
The Service emphasised that this phase of the exercise applies solely to successful applicants in the Superintendent Cadre.
