Ekiti : APC disqualifies governorship aspirant

Ahead of the Ekiti State governorship primary scheduled for October 27, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  has disqualified one of the aspirants, Engr. Kayode Ojo, from participating in the exercise.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had earlier fixed the governorship election in the state for July 20, 2026.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja on Thursday, the APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Duro Meseko, announced that Governor Abiodun Oyebanji and Omolayo Oluremi had been cleared to take part in the primary.
