2027: Atiku, Obi, Jonathan stand no chance against Tinubu – Kalu

Former Abia State Governor and Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has expressed strong confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure re-election in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Kalu stated that none of Tinubu’s potential challengers—including former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and ex-Anambra State Governor Peter Obi—pose a serious threat to the President’s chances.

Kalu described Tinubu as a seasoned politician with the structure, experience, and national appeal to win again, adding that his administration’s ongoing reforms will further strengthen his political standing ahead of 2027.

According to the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, the President has done well to turn around the nation’s economy.

The Abia state politician also warned Jonathan against contesting, saying he is constitutionally banned from doing so.
