Atiku, El-Rufai, Ayu, others visit Olubadan days after missing coronation

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and former PDP National Chairman Iyorcha Ayu on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, at his Bodija residence in Ibadan.

The high-profile delegation arrived around 12:20 p.m. and was warmly welcomed by the monarch, who personally ushered them into his inner chamber for a private discussion.

Their visit came just days after they were notably absent from the coronation ceremony of the Olubadan, held the previous Friday. Speaking during the visit, the leaders explained that they had come to formally congratulate the newly crowned monarch.
