Bauchi gov sacks commissioner for women affairs

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has relieved the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko, of her duties.

The decision was announced in a statement issued by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, who described it as a minor adjustment to the composition of the State Executive Council.

According to the statement, Hajiya Zainab’s removal from office takes immediate effect. Governor Mohammed expressed gratitude for her service to the state and extended his best wishes for her future endeavors.
