Local Govt’s chairman appoints 70 aides

No fewer than 70 aides have been appointed by the Executive Chairman of Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Abubakar Madaki.
According to a statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Adamu Ladan, the appointments comprise six senior special assistants and 64 special assistants.
Ladan explained that the aides were carefully selected to help implement government policies and ensure that residents at the grassroots benefit from the administration’s programmes.
He noted that “certain things are considered, including competency, contribution to the party, and loyalty to the dividend of democracy.”
The media aide further urged the appointees “to develop creative and implementable programmes to position the local government as a leading centre for impactful youth initiatives.”
He congratulated the new aides and wished them success in carrying out their responsibilities.
