Prof. Cynthia Obiorah bags 100 Global Impact Personalities honour

Professor Cynthia Amaka Obiorah, a distinguished figure in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE), has been honoured as one of the recipients of the esteemed 100 Global Impact Personalities Summit and Awards. Bestowed by the African Intercontinental Network in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the award celebrates Professor Obiorah’s remarkable influence as a pioneering academic and globally respected thought leader.
Selected on merit from over 1,500 nominees, Professor Obiorah’s recognition reflects her outstanding academic credentials and extensive research publications. A thorough evaluation of the nominees’ professional achievements and scholarly contributions confirmed her as a standout leader and exemplar of excellence in her field.
The awards ceremony, themed “Fostering Collaboration for Progressive Impact” and held in Abuja, provided a platform for Professor Obiorah to articulate her vision for transformative change. Her address, delivered during her interview at the World Safety Organization iNatConf and WoSAwards 2025 under the theme – PROGRESS (Promoting Resilient Occupational, Governance, Risk Management and Environmental Safety Standards) – highlighted her dedication to advancing safety, health, and environmental standards.
