Tinubu heads to Kaduna for wedding, visit to Aisha Buhari

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to be in Kaduna State on Friday, September 19, for a short official engagement.

His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed in a statement on Thursday that the President will be attending the wedding ceremony of Nasirudeen Yari and Safiyya Shehu Idris.

Nasirudeen is the son of Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, who currently represents Zamfara West in the National Assembly.

During the visit, President Tinubu will also stop by the Kaduna residence of Aisha, widow of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, for a courtesy call.

He is expected to return to Abuja later in the day after concluding the events.
