Mathew Ayoola of Radio Nigeria bags Innovative Media Achievement Award

A Manager News, Radio Nigeria, Abuja Operations, Comrade Mathew Ayoola has been honoured with Innovative Media Achievement Award.
The Award was presented to him by the Association of Mass Communication Students, ASMACS, Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State during the Association’s 1st Public Lecture and Awards Presentation.
The Award is in recognition of his exceptional creativity, groundbreaking achievements in the media industry and his role in driving innovative that inspired both the Association of Mass Communication Students, ASMACS and the wilder media community.
Presenting the Award to him in Bida, Niger State, the Head of Mass Communication Department, Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, Dr. Mrs Alice Jonah commended Comrade Mathew Ayoola for making the Department of Mass Communication, Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State proud years after graduating from the Institution.
While advising him to keep the flag flying, Dr. Mrs Alice Jonah advised upcoming Journalists to emulate his professionalism and ethical conduct towards uplifting humanity and the society in general.
Also speaking during the presentation of the Award, the Director, Communication, Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, Dr. Patrick Agbo equally extolled Comrade Mathew Ayoola for being a good Ambassador of the Institution.
Dr. Patrick Agbo advised him not to relent in contributing his quota to the growth and development of journalism profession in Nigeria.
Earlier in his welcome address, the President, Association of Mass Communication Students, ASMACS, Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, Abdulrahamoh Olalekan solicited the support of Alumni of the Department towards building the academic capacity of the students.
He stated that the Association would continue to seek professional advice of its Alumni who are already excelling on the field of journalism practice
Receiving the Award, Comrade Mathew Ayoola dedicated it to God, family and his parents who have given him the opportunity to realize his dreams in the broadcast journalism industry.
Comrade Mathew Ayoola who is an Alumni of Mass Communication Department, Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State stressed the need for Mass Communication Students to develop passion for their studies towards becoming renowned and successful media professionals in future.
Other recipients of the Award include the State House Correspondent of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Comrade Dan Wahab, Head of Mass Communication Department, Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, Mrs Serah Ikoh, Editor of Pennacle Daily, Comrade Sunday Micheal and Chairman, Guild of Public Affairs Analysts, Enugu State Chapter, Dr. Ambrose Igboke, among other Alumnus of the Institution.
