JUST IN: Nigerian gov dissolves cabinet, retains SSG, others

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has announced the dissolution of his cabinet.

The decision was made public during the State Executive Council meeting held at the Council Chamber, Government House, Minna. Addressing members of the dissolved cabinet, Governor Bago expressed gratitude for their contributions to the growth and development of the state and wished them success in their future pursuits.

However, the governor clarified that some top aides would remain in office. These include the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), the Chief of Staff, the Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal officers directly attached to his office.
