Tragedy as elder brother of ex-Benue Speaker dies few hours after resignation

Tragedy has struck the family of Hon. Aondona Dajoh, the immediate past Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, with the sudden passing of his elder brother, Elder Gwamile Dajoh.

According to reports, Elder Gwamile collapsed and died on Sunday, only hours after his younger brother tendered his resignation as Speaker.

The late Elder Dajoh was said to have been deeply concerned over the political crisis in the House prior to his sudden passing.

His death follows Hon. Aondona Dajoh’s resignation, which paved the way for the election of Hon. Alfred Berger as the new Speaker during an emergency plenary session.
