Over 4,000 applicants jostle for 98 jobs at federal polytechnic

Close to 4,500 people have applied for fewer than 100 job openings recently advertised by a federal polytechnic, Bali in Taraba State.

Rector of the polytechnic   Dr. Mohammed Usman, disclosed this figure while briefing the Governing Council during its 5th meeting held at the Rector’s Conference Room in Bali, the administrative headquarters of Bali Local Government Area.

The school had placed its vacancy notices in national dailies on July 2, 2025, with applications closing on August 13, 2025.

Dr. Usman explained that the next stage will involve shortlisting, adding that qualified candidates will be invited for interviews.“The shortlisted applicants will be communicated on the date for interview via their respective addresses or phone contact as provided by the candidates,” he said.

The council commended the management for adhering to guidelines of the Federal Ministry of Education as well as the school’s internal regulations.
