BBNaija 10: Victory’s bold game ends in shock eviction

The Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 house, dubbed “10/10,” experienced another intense eviction on Sunday night as Victory Okokon, one of the show’s most strategic and polarizing housemates, was shown the door.

Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu delivered the announcement, officially ending Victory’s run in the reality series, which has gripped viewers nationwide since it launched on July 26, 2025.

Victory, a 28-year-old psychologist from Akwa Ibom State, entered the competition known for his confidence and tactical gameplay. His reign as Head of House in Week 2 — after defeating Thelma Lawson in a dramatic Monday challenge — cemented his image as a strong contender. His choice to appoint Joanna as his deputy raised eyebrows and fueled speculation among fans.

But Victory’s stint in the house wasn’t without controversy. He clashed openly with Thelma over food and condoms, a confrontation that triggered online debates and split fan opinion.

His eviction stunned many viewers. “Never saw Victory leaving the show this early, he actually had content and was very competitive,” one fan posted on X, summing up the mixed reactions flooding social media.

Some critics branded him a “villain,” pointing to his fiery exchanges and controversial remarks, including a heated encounter with Kuture over comments about Tracy. Yet others admired his fearless personality, crediting him with providing “premium content” and keeping the show lively.

The current season’s eviction pattern has been anything but predictable. In the opening week, Victory and Kayikunmi narrowly avoided nomination after most housemates failed to locate the correct envelope in a house-wide challenge.

During his tenure as HoH, Victory used his immunity to make bold moves, including saving Kayikunmi, but his assertive leadership style drew its share of criticism inside and outside the house.
