FCT: ADC commissions party’s office in Kwali, receives over 2,000 decampees

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has commissioned its campaign and party’s office in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
The party also received over 2,000 decampees into ADC.
On the occasion in Kwali Abuja, the the immediate past National Organizing Secretary of ADC, Alhaji Ibrahim Suleiman advised electorate in Kwali Area Council against money politics in next year’s FCT Area Council election in the area.
Suleiman, who was also the Electoral Committee Chairman during the Chairmanship Primary Election of ADC in Kwali Area Council commended the decampees for believing in the Party and solicited support for the ADC Chairmanship and Councilorship Candidates in Kwali during the forthcoming Chairmanship election.
According to him, the party will deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Kwali if the Chairmanship Candidate is elected during the 2026 FCT Area Council election.
Also speaking, the Deputy Chairman of ADC in the Federal Capital Territory, Mrs Martha Etsu said the commissioning of the Party’s Office would go a long way to ease its electioneering campaign of both the ADC Chairmanship and Councilorship Candidates in the 2026 FCT Area Council Election.
Mrs Martha Etsu used the occasion to call for unity of purpose among the Executives and Members of the Party towards ensuring that the Party merged victorious at all levels during the FCT Area Council Election.
She promised that the Party would put in place necessary measures that would enhance good governance not only in Kwali but in other Area Councils of the FCY if ADC Candidates were elected next year.
On his part, the Head of Constituency Office to the FCT Senator, Ambassador Emmanuel Destiny said ADC is on rescue mission in Kwali towards improving the well-being of people of the area.
While expressing concern over the level of development in Kwali, Ambassador Emmanuel Destiny advised residents of the area to take advantage of the ongoing online Continuos Voters’ Registration by INEC to enable them elect candidate of their choice in next year’s poll.
Earlier, the ADC Chairmanship Candidate in Kwali, Mr Jeremiah Bandoji promised to give priority to rural and people’s oriented projects if elected in the 2026 Chairmanship election in the area.
Mr Jeremiah Bandoji particularly promised to increase the Council’s Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, upgrade the motor park in the area and overhaul the health, education and economic sector of the Area Council among others.
The event was attended by chieftains of ADC both at local, state and national levels.
