Rev. Oyelami cautions Christian ladies against immoral behaviours as First Baptist Church marks Lydia Sunday

The Minister in charge of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada, Abuja, Reverend Deji Oyelami has admonished Christian ladies to embrace humility and moral lifestyle in their daily endeavours.
In his message to commemorate this year’s Lydia Sunday of the Church in Gwagwalada Abuja, Reverend Oyelami said the admonition became necessary to enable them build a Godly homes and attract divine blessings
According to the Baptist Cleric, the theme for this year’s Lydia Sunday “Accessing The Throne Of God” is choisen to remind christian ladies of what is expected of them while serving God.
“Christians ladies can access the throne of God with confidence and humility, trusting in Jesus Christ as our mediator and receiving God’s unmerited favour and mercy for their journey in life ” He said
While also urging Christian ladies to be steadfast in faith and prayers, Reverend Deji Oyelami stressed the need for them to always engage in positive ventures and shun sinful behaviours.
“I will like to admonished christian ladies to live authentically and morally upright and seeking God’s guidance and strength in all their endeavours and I pray that it shall be well with them as they do so In Jesus’ Name” He started
Oyelami, who expressed concern over the attitude of some christian ladies cautioned them against bringing shame to their families and body of Christ due to the present economic situation of the country.
“I want to wish Lydia members in all Baptist a happy Lydia’s Week celebration and ar the same time call on them to always be shinning examples and live a life worthy of emulation while looking forward and hoping to build Godly homes that their families and the Church if God will be proud of* He added
Some Lydia members in the Church expressed gratitude to God for giving them the grace to witness another Lydia Sunday.
Highpoints of the Church’s Lydia Sunday Service were talk show, planet, thanksgiving and prayers for Lydia members and the country in general.
