Gunmen abduct ex-Gov Al-Makura’s aide

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped Alhaji Adamu, Personal Assistant to former Nasarawa State Governor, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, from his home in Lafia.
Security analyst Zagozola Makama reported that the attack happened on August 15 around 3:40 a.m. at No. 45 Alkali Street, Lafia.
“Eyewitness accounts confirmed that the victim was taken away by unknown persons,” he said.
Sources said patrol teams, the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, and other tactical units were immediately dispatched to track the assailants and rescue the victim.
Authorities have assured that all efforts are underway to ensure Alhaji Adamu’s safe release and bring the perpetrators to justice.
