Toke Makinwa announces she’s expecting her first child

Media personality and lifestyle entrepreneur, Toke Makinwa, has shared joyful news with her fans—she is expecting her first child.

Taking to Instagram, Makinwa described the pregnancy as “the biggest project of my life” and the “highest calling ever,” expressing deep gratitude for the new chapter unfolding in her life.

Reflecting on 2025, she noted how much her journey has transformed within the year, hinting at both personal growth and the exciting anticipation of motherhood.

“Dear God, you did this one; you have completely changed my life. You opened this door that nobody can shut,” she stated.

She further expressed gratitude for what she called God’s perfect timing. Makinwa who is also an actress, said the journey to motherhood had been one of patience and personal growth.

The former radio host, also noted with excitement that this new role as a mother “trumps it all.” She wrote: “My bug, I cannot wait to meet you. You’ve made me the happiest person on earth, baby. Thank you for choosing me… the answer to my prayers.”

She concluded by encouraging her followers to trust in God’s timing, declaring: “My healed pain will break someone else’s chain… My season is here.”
