Ibom Air passenger to regain freedom as FG lifts lifetime flight ban

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has confirmed that Comfort Emmanson  the passenger at the center of an unruly conduct incident aboard an Ibom Air flight  will be released this week.

Keyamo shared the update on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, adding that the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) has agreed to lift the lifetime ban it had earlier placed on Emmanson.

The decision marks a significant turn in a case that has drawn public attention in recent weeks, sparking conversations around airline policies, passenger behavior, and conflict resolution in the aviation sector.
