Tinubu, Soludo hold closed-door meeting at Aso Villa

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday hosted Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja for a private discussion.

While the Presidency did not release official details, insiders suggest the talks may be linked to the upcoming Anambra governorship election, where Soludo is seeking a second term.

Notably, Soludo’s arrival at the Villa sparked conversation as he sported a cap bearing Tinubu’s infinity logo — a gesture many interpret as a show of support for the President, who is widely believed to be considering another term in office.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed the Anambra governorship poll for November 8, 2025.
