Kano Reps’ member holds second private meeting with Tinubu in two weeks

Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, member representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency in Kano State, has met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a closed-door session at the State House.
The meeting, which took place on Sunday night, reportedly lasted nearly two hours. This marks the second time in less than two weeks that the House of Representatives member has held a private discussion with the President.
Although the lawmaker did not reveal the content of the meeting, inside sources said it might not be unconnected to the relationship between former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso and the President and the increasing anti APC sentiments in the north.
Asked about the purpose of the second meeting by the State House reporters, the lawmaker declined to comment further.
Ten days earlier when he visited, Jibrin told the reporters that he discussed “issues of national development” with the President.
