We remain united, loyal to Tinubu’s agenda despite Fakai’s exit -APC integrity movement

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Integrity Movement (ANIM) has reiterated its loyalty to the party and its ongoing agenda, assuring members that the recent resignation of former national leader Sadiq Saadu Fakai will not disrupt its operations or weaken its structure.
In a statement jointly signed by Deputy National Leader (North), Hon. Aminu Yakubu and Deputy National Leader (South) Dr. Yetunde Adeneji, the group emphasized that Fakai’s departure, though regrettable, would have no impact on the movement’s stability or commitment.
“It has come to the attention of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress National Integrity Movement (ANIM) with a deep sense of responsibility and concern that Mr. Sadiq Saadu Fakai, former National Leader of the Movement, has tendered his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“While we acknowledge his constitutional right to freedom of association and political affiliation, it is important to clearly state that his resignation, though regrettable, does not in any way affect the structure, integrity, or commitment of the APC National Integrity Movement to the ideals of our great party, the All Progressives Congress,” the statement read.
The movement pledged continued support for the APC-led Federal Government, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
“Let it be known that the leadership of the APC National Integrity Movement remains intact and functional, with the Deputy National Leader (South) Dr. Yetunde Adeniji and Deputy National Leader (North) Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Adamu Musa providing effective guidance and stability, while consultations are ongoing to fill the leadership vacuum in line with our constitutional provisions,” the statement continued.
The leaders called on members across the country and abroad to remain steadfast.
“We urge all our teeming members across the 36 states of the Federation, the FCT, and in the diaspora, to remain calm, resolute, and supportive of the ongoing internal processes aimed at strengthening the Movement for greater service to the party and nation.
“The APC National Integrity Movement has not been dissolved. Its name, structure, and operational essence remain unchanged. Our loyalty to the APC, its leadership, and the vision of a prosperous and united Nigeria remains unwavering.
“We move forward with renewed strength and clarity of purpose,” the statement added.
