Morayo Afolabi-Brown resigns from TVC after 12 years

TVC Communications has officially confirmed the resignation of Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the Managing Director of TVC Entertainment and longtime host of the popular all-women talk show, “Your View.”

In a statement signed by Edward Akintara, Manager of PR, Corporate Communications & Marketing, the media company announced that Morayo tendered her resignation formally and will be stepping down from her role at the end of August 2025, bringing to a close an impactful 12-year tenure with the organization.

“Her last working day will be Thursday, 29th August, 2025,” the statement said.

According to the release, “Morayo’s decision to step down after 12 remarkable years as host of Your View is driven by her desire to pursue a long-held passion project that she has nurtured over time. We celebrate her for the incredible impact she has made, not only on Your View, but also to millions of viewers across Nigeria and beyond.”

TVC noted that although she will be dearly missed, the show will continue. “Morayo will be dearly missed, however, the show remains strong and will continue to deliver the quality and relevance our audience has come to expect.”

Expressing gratitude for her years of service, the company said, “We thank Morayo for her years of service, impact and inspiration and we wish her the very best in this new and exciting chapter. We are confident that her legacy at TVC Communications will endure, and she will always remain a cherished member of the TVC family.”

The statement further urged the public and media to support Morayo in her next phase. “We ask that the public and media continue to accord Morayo the same respect and support she has earned over the years as she embarks on this new journey.”
