Olubadan-in-Council nominates Ladoja as 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland

The Olubadan-in-Council has officially nominated Oba Rasidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The nomination was made during the Council’s meeting held on Monday at the New Palace in Oke-Aremo, Ibadan. Although Oba Ladoja was absent from the gathering, the meeting was attended by all the beaded-crown High Chiefs of Ibadanland.
The motion to nominate Oba Ladoja was moved by the Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, and seconded by the Osi Olubadan, Oba Eddy Oyewole.

According to Oba Ajibola, the Council will now forward Oba Ladoja’s name to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for final approval.
If confirmed, Oba Rasidi Ladoja will ascend the revered throne as the next Olubadan, continuing the rich cultural heritage and leadership tradition of Ibadanland.
