Katsina Emirate appoints Sirika, Gov Radda’s son as district heads

The Katsina Emirate Council has announced the appointment of six new district heads, including former Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, and Umar Radda, son of Governor Dikko Radda.

The appointments were confirmed in a statement released on Saturday by the Secretary to the Emirate, Alhaji Bello Ifo.

According to the statement, Sirika will serve as the Marusan Katsina and District Head of Shargalle in Dutsi Local Government Area.

Umar Radda has been named the Gwagwaren Katsina and District Head of Radda in Charanchi Local Government Area.

Others on the list include  Sanusi Kabir-Usman, who assumes the role of Karshin Katsina and District Head of Shinkafi in Kaita Local Government; and  Ahmad Abdulmumini-Kabir, appointed Dan-majen Katsina and District Head of Dankama, also in Kaita Local Government.

The statement further noted that  Abubakar Dardisu will serve as Sarkin Mudurun Katsina and District Head of Muduru in Mani Local Government, while Alhaji Gambo Abdullahi becomes Dausayin Katsina and District Head of Dabai in Danja Local Government.

Their appointments took effect from Saturday.
