BREAKING: Tinubu honours Super Falcons with $100,000 each, national awards

President Bola Tinubu has showered praise and recognition on Nigeria’s Super Falcons following their historic victory at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) by bestowing national honours on all squad members.

In a celebratory reception held at the Presidential Villa, President Tinubu commended the team’s resilience, determination, and patriotism, describing their triumph as a proud moment for the nation.

As part of the rewards, each of the 24 players will receive the naira equivalent of $100,000, while members of the technical crew are set to receive $50,000 each.
