APC France  chapter rallies behind Yilwatda, tasks him on unity, strategic reform

The France chapter of Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has thrown its support behind the newly appointed National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, urging him to prioritise unity, discipline, and strategic reform within the party.

Yilwatda emerged as the APC’s seventh national chairman during Thursday’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, following the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who stepped down citing health reasons.

In a statement issued on Friday, Chairperson of APC France, Hajia Amina Suzuki Baba, praised Yilwatda’s emergence, expressing strong confidence in his capacity to steer the party in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“On behalf of the entire executive council and all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) France Chapter, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on his well-deserved inauguration as the National Chairman of our great party, the APC,” the statement read.

“This new chapter marks not only a personal achievement but a renewed opportunity to steer our party toward greater unity, discipline, and strategic advancement.

“We are confident in your ability to provide visionary leadership that aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.”

Reaffirming the commitment of the diaspora community to the party’s goals, she added.
