We will soon build new national secretariat for APC – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will soon have a new national secretariat in Abuja, signaling plans for a more befitting permanent base for the ruling party.
Speaking during the 14th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the APC held at the State House Conference Centre on Thursday, Tinubu said, “We’ll look for an appropriate land to build a befitting secretariat.” However, he did not disclose any financial commitment or projected cost for the project.
The APC’s current headquarters, named Muhammadu Buhari House, is located at 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II. Acquired in 2021 at the cost of N2.5 billion, the building was named after former President Muhammadu Buhari by the party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee.
While the last NEC meeting was held at the Muhammadu Buhari House, Thursday’s emergency gathering took place at the Presidential Villa, marking a notable shift in venue amid discussions on the party’s future.
