Yahaya Bello reportedly marries fourth wife in Abuja

Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has taken a new bride, Hiqma, in what sources described as a quiet wedding ceremony held in Abuja over the weekend.
According to a report by Guardian, the event, which was limited to close relatives and select friends, was confirmed publicly by Bello’s third wife, through a post on her Instagram account.
In the message, she reportedly extended a warm welcome to the new wife, writing:
“Our family just got a little bigger and more loving,” she said, adding a note of appreciation and a prayer for continued peace and blessings in the home.
Bello, who served as governor from 2016 to 2023 under the All Progressives Congress (APC), is also married to Amina Oyiza Bello, Rashida Yahaya Bello, and Hafiza Bello.
Despite his political prominence, the former governor is known to keep his family life away from the public eye. His recent marriage is another personal milestone following the end of his two-term administration in Kogi State.
He holds both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
